NREMT NCCP-Compliant Paramedic Refresher

New Britain EMS Academy provides paramedic refresher courses for Nationally Registered Paramedics to renew their Registry following the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model, or through challenging the cognitive exam.

The Paramedic National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of 60 hours continuing education to renew. The model requires continuing education in three components: (1) a national component, (2) a local/state component, and (3) an individual component. Broken down as follows:

  • National Component = 30 hours (up to 10 distributive) of approved continuing education.
  • Local/state component = 15 hours (Up to 10 hours distributive) CAPCE or state approved content

NCCP 35 hour In-Class, Instructor-Led Paramedic Refresher Courses

This course includes live and in-class instructor-led continuing education content. Our program will provide 30 hours of in-class live state-approved content that meets the NCCP model national requirements, an additional 5 hours of live in-class state-approved local content plus a subscription to CAPCE approved online courses to earn the remaining 10 hours of local content and 15 hours of individual content.
