NREMT NCCP Compliant Paramedic Refresher
This NREMT Paramedic Refresher is state approved content meeting NCCP requirements for current Nationally Registered paramedics
Beginning with Nationally Registered paramedics renewing for the 3/31/2019 cycle, the National Registry will no longer accept the "traditional 48-hour paramedic refresher model" Paramedics will be expected to renew their Registry following the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model.The Paramedic National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requires a total of 60 hours of continuing education to renew. The model requires continuing education in three components: (1) a national component, (2) a local/state component, and (3) an individual component. Broken down as follows:
- National Component = 30 hours (up to 10 distributive) of approved continuing education.- Local/state component = 15 hours (Up to 10 hours distributive) CAPCE or state approved content- Individual component = 15 hours (Up to 15 distributive) CAPCE or state approved For more information check out NCCP Requirements Our program will provide 30 hours of in class live state approved content that meets the NCCP model national requirements, an additional 5 hours of live in class state approved local content plus a subscription to CAPCE approved online courses to earn the remaining 10 hours of local content and 15 hours of individual content.
